Maui (HI) Passes Administrative Rules Regarding Plastic Bag Ban

Maui passed a plastic bag ban in August 2008, to be implemented on January 11, 2011.  After much debate, the final regulations are now available.  These administrative rules address many of the specifics of implementation that the ordinance lacked, including what types of plastic bags are still allowed under the ban.
