Write to or call your mayor, city counsel member, or state representative to express your support for the reduction in plastic bag consumption through:

• bans on single-use carryout bags
• fees for single-use carryout bags
• credits for bags supplied by customers
• the distribution of free or at-cost reusable bags
• litter clean-ups
